Promotional Items
Overview
Promotional items help extend our presence and strengthen our identity in everyday life.
It is important to carefully consider the types of promotional items we produce to ensure responsible use of budgets and minimise environmental impact.
We must also adhere to our design and logo set guidelines as much as possible. However, some items require a more flexible approach to design. For example, some promotional items may have limited space for our brand logo set, in which case only the Wordmark or the Crest should be used.
If you have any questions about the brand or the Brand Book, please get in touch with us via our contact form.
The examples provided are intended to represent conceptual ideas around items that can be produced at relatively low cost and distributed freely at events. They shouldn’t been seen as final products or high end merchandise pieces.
It’s important to consider the environmental impact of promotional merchandise when placing orders, recognising that the most sustainable option is not to order. Each item we produce contributes to the depletion of natural resources, creates carbon emissions and adds to our overall waste footprint.
Where promotional materials are absolutely necessary, ensuring that we don’t over-order and opting for products made from recycled materials or those that can be easily recycled will help to reduce the environmental impact, support the University’s commitment to sustainability and set a positive example for our community.
Thoughtful decisions today can help reduce unnecessary waste tomorrow - let’s lead by making choices that reflect our values and responsibility to the planet.
